Flora and Pepe met while both were working in the United States. Flora, who is from Brazil, came to the country on an H1B work visa, while Pepe — originally from Spain — secured a green card through his work. In March of 2019, they were married. With the help of Boundless, Flora received her green card in December, 2020. We caught up with the couple to learn about their experience with Boundless and the marriage green card application process.
What led you to choose Boundless?
Flora: We were extremely concerned because everywhere we looked the lawyer fees were so expensive and we just couldn’t afford it. [When we found Boundless], the price was actually good but we were like “That can’t be right.” So we did a lot of research and read [Boundless] reviews and that’s why I’m so glad to give this review because it helped me make the decision [to choose Boundless] and it was a decision I’m happy I’ve made.
What stood out to you about the Boundless service?
Flora: It’s so personal — it’s not like you’re dealing with some computerized service. Everything was very detailed and [Boundless] made it very easy for us to put [our application] together. An [independent immigration attorney] reviewed everything and answered our questions. At no point did I feel like I was being forgotten; I felt like I was really being taken care of.

Did you feel prepared for your green card interview?
Flora: After everything was mailed, Joel [our customer success advocate] was always checking on me. When I received any communication, I notified him and he told me what was coming up next. So when I received the interview scheduling information he immediately sent me materials with a checklist of what to bring and how to prepare for the questions. So we went through those and we felt over-prepared!

Anything else you’d like to add about your experience?
Pepe: This is a subject that is very stressful for all of us immigrants. I’ve had different lawyers for my various visas and they made it look extremely difficult. I plan to apply for citizenship and we’ll definitely use Boundless.
